The Ringfinnan Garden of Remembrance is a quiet labour of love, lovingly cared for and maintained to honour the memory of the 343 brave FDNY members. The garden remains open year-round with free entry for all visitors seeking a place of reflection and peace.
We do not actively request or rely on public funding. However, for those who express a personal wish to contribute towards long-term care and tree preservation, voluntary donations are accepted entirely at your discretion. Any such support helps ensure that this sanctuary remains a dignified, beautifully kept tribute for generations to come.

In August 2023, over 70 members of the FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums visited Ringfinnan. They performed a stirring tribute alongside the Irish Defence Forces and generously donated €5,000 toward ongoing groundskeeping and tree care.
In September 2024, approximately 100 firefighters completed a grueling 225-mile charity cycle from Dublin to Ringfinnan. Their extraordinary efforts raised nearly $150,000 for 9/11-related health causes while honoring their fallen brothers.
Our deep gratitude goes to the local volunteers, tradespeople, and neighbours who donate their time, equipment, and labour year-round. From grass cutting to fence repairs, their dedication keeps the sanctuary open and serene.
